Types of Information We Collect

We collect the following personal information from our customers: name, address, telephone number, and email address, and any other information provided when booking.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use your personal information to provide you with the product and service you have booked with us, and to fulfill our contract with you. We also use the information to keep you informed of your booking via email, telephone, or text message.

Legal Basis for Processing Your Information

We collect and use information about your name, address, telephone, and email to enter into a contract with you, or to perform a contract that you have with us. This process is based on the Data Protection Act (Art 6 (1)(b). in Norway.

With your consent given by signing up for our newsletter, your information may also be used to inform you of special offers, updates, and service regarding your order via email, telephone, and text messages. This process is based on the Data Protection Act Art 6 (1)(a). You can choose to unsubscribe from our newsletter and marketing information at any time.

Collecting Your Personal Information

It is voluntary to book a trip to Flor & Fjære. We retain the personal information you have submitted when making an online booking.

How We Share Your Personal Information

We share your personal information with our affiliated partners, Rødne Trafikk (boat), Last Friday (system developer) and Kjell Haver Accounting, to fulfill our contract with you, provide service, and carry out our business. We will not share, sell, or transfer personal information to other third parties, unless to comply with legal obligations.

How We Store and Delete Your Information

We retain the personal information you submitted when booking in our booking system for up to 10 years. Information we need in order to meet regulatory requirements and comply with accounting laws will be retained for 5 years.

Your Right to Control Your Information

We process your personal information in compliance with the Data Protection Act and applicable laws. You have the right to access the information we retain, as well as transfer, correct, update, or request deletion of your information.

You may submit a complaint to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you suspect we have not complied with applicable laws and regulations.

Information Security

We protect your personal information by controlling physical and virtual access to our data.
